Protect Ethical Prosecutors is a non-profit organization collecting information about instances of prosecutorial misconduct. The data will be used for investigating prosecutorial misconduct and educating the public.
The raw data and form information is not for public consumption, nor is the source of the information. PEP is requesting submitters provide contact information so case details can be independently verified.
A case — or the information provided in this form — will only be made public if a defendant can be notified and consents to the publication, and the case exemplifies an issue of prosecutorial misconduct.
Any data made available to the public will be de-identified. A de-identified sample database can be seen here. It is understood that attorneys submitting this form have obtained client consent.
For questions, or to send case information directly, contact Lauryn Schroeder.
