Protect Ethical Prosecutors aims to raise awareness about the nationwide epidemic of prosecutorial misconduct. As a non-profit organization, PEP has partnered with Frank Quattrone and Denise Forderaro to educate the public about prosecutorial misconduct, and to develop and support policies and legislation that will hold prosecutors accountable for their misconduct. The most imminent projects are to eliminate prosecutorial immunity state by state and create a mechanism to track prosecutors who violate the U.S. Constitution.

Prosecutors can wrongfully charge, pursue cases against and convict innocent people, forcing them to spend decades in prison, bankrupting their emotional and financial resources, and damaging their reputations and family lives. They have significant unchecked power and are rarely held accountable and cannot be sued for the damage they cause.

It’s time to protect ethics, promote accountability and put an end to the epidemic of prosecutorial misconduct.
