Rachel Roberts is the Chief of Staff and Data Strategy for PEP. She is a board-certified criminal defense investigator and has worked a wide variety of state and federal criminal defense cases, including post-conviction investigations for Innocence Projects at the state and national levels. Rachel is one of 65 Certified Legal Investigators (CLI) in North America, and she is adept with computer-assisted reporting techniques.

Prior to working as a criminal defense investigator, Rachel spent four years researching complex corporate fraud for the legal and investment communities. As a student correspondent for The Boston Globe, Rachel worked alongside Pulitzer prize-winning journalists from Spotlight, a special reporting unit for investigative and accountability journalism. Rachel graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Environmental Design and Journalism from The University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
